Join us for a two-day deep immersion into the heart of Afro-Cuban percussion and song. This unique program focuses on the vibrant rhythms of rumba, the sacred Orisha Batá patterns, and powerful Yoruba and Rumba chants.
You’ll receive 8 hours of hands-on instruction—4 hours each day—covering vocal and percussive techniques, cultural context, and spiritual meaning. Whether you’re a musician, singer, or passionate learner, this workshop offers rare insight into the Afro-Cuban oral and rhythmic traditions.

Master Percussionist | Guantánamo, Cuba / UK
A lifelong student and teacher of Afro-Cuban folkloric percussion since 1978, José was a core member of Cuba’s prestigious Danza Libre company. He has performed and taught across Europe and Cuba, bringing decades of deep rhythmic knowledge and cultural expertise to each class.
Lead Musician: Vocals & Percussion | Camagüey, Cuba / Italy
Trained at the Escuela Vocacional de Arte in Camagüey, Julio is a gifted singer, percussionist, and folkloric dancer. He has devoted his career to preserving and sharing Afro-Cuban music throughout Europe. His warm, powerful voice and deep spiritual connection to the Orishas make his classes both inspiring and transformative.
This workshop is open to all levels—from beginners to experienced musicians. Whether you’re a vocalist, drummer, dancer, or cultural enthusiast, you’ll find a space to grow, connect, and be inspired.
