Join us for an exceptional opportunity at the Carlos Acosta Easter Camp (CAEC), a premier spring course for aspiring dancers aged 12–18. This programme offers a unique glimpse into professional dance training at the Acosta Dance Centre, guided by the esteemed Carlos Acosta curriculum.

Course Overview

Dates: Monday, April 7th – Saturday, April 12th, 2025
Location: Acosta Dance Centre, Southeast London
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily
Fee: £450 (or £400 for early bird applications, paid by Dec 31st)

The CAEC immerses young dancers in a rich, holistic ballet programme, featuring:

This exclusive, non-residential camp is led by professional instructors from the
Carlos Acosta curriculum in Cuba and the UK. It offers personalized attention to refine technique, enhance artistry, and elevate performance skills.

Entry Requirements

  • Open to students aged 12–18 with a minimum Intermediate Foundation level or equivalent in ballet.
  • Custom groups will be formed based on age and training level/experience.

Auditions for the Acosta Advanced Training Hub (AATH) +16 Course:
Participants of the CAEC who wish to audition for the AATH +16 Course will have their AATH +16 registration and audition fees waived.

Terms and Conditions for the Carlos Acosta Easter Camp (CAEC) 1. Eligibility a. The CAEC is open to dancers aged 12 and above with a minimum Intermediate Foundation level (or equivalent) in ballet, as well as those aged 16+ who have partially or fully completed vocational training. b. The programme will run from April 7 to April 12. 2. Application Process a. Entry into the CAEC requires an application; no workshop-based or audition process is necessary. b. Applications must be submitted and payment completed within the specified deadline at the time of booking and registration. c. The Acosta Dance Centre reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its discretion without providing a reason. 3. Venue and Facilities a. The CAEC will be conducted at the Acosta Dance Centre, located in Woolwich Works, Royal Arsenal, London. b. The Centre features state-of-the-art dance studios, creating an ideal learning environment for participants. 4. Fees and Expenses a. By submitting an application, participants agree to pay a £15 application fee and either £400 for early bird registration (until 11:00 PM UK time on December 31) or £450 for bookings made after this date. The registration fee is non-refundable. b. Participants are solely responsible for their accommodation, travel, and personal expenses. 5. Commitment and Attendance a. Participants accepted into the CAEC are expected to fully commit to the programme for its entire duration (one week). b. Regular attendance and active participation in all classes, workshops, and performances are mandatory. 6. Code of Conduct a. Participants must adhere to a professional code of conduct, including punctuality, respect for instructors and peers, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. 7. Media Release a. The Acosta Dance Centre reserves the right to use photographs, videos, and other media captured during the CAEC for promotional and educational purposes. 8. Changes and Cancellations a. The Acosta Dance Centre reserves the right to make changes to the programme schedule, curriculum, or teaching staff if necessary. b. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrollment, the Centre reserves the right to cancel or postpone the CAEC. Appropriate notification will be provided to participants in such cases. 9. Refund Policy a. Full refunds will be provided for cancellations made by 7 February 2025 or more than two months before the programme start date. b. Cancellations made between 7 February 2025 & 7 March 2025 will receive a 50% refund. c. *No refunds* will be issued for cancellations made after 7 March 2025.
