Open Rehearsal-Performance Group – Community-Based – Play in Motion

Play in Motion:  Dance Workshop and Open Rehearsal

This February, the Acosta Dance Centre (ADC) warmly invites you to Play in Motion—a series of free dance workshops and open rehearsals with the ADC Performance Group, led by Tanztheatre Director Adrian Look. Open to anyone curious about movement creation, narrative building, or exploring the Tanztheatre approach in a community-based setting, these workshops are a unique opportunity to engage with creative ideas and artistic expression.

Workshop Details:

• Dates: Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th, and Wednesday 26th February 2025
• Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Venue: Acosta Dance Centre
• Who Can Join: Open to all (ages 18+), no prior experience required.

The final session on 26th February will feature a sharing presentation, offering an intimate look into the group’s creative journey and work-in-progress.

Whether you’re new to dance, an experienced mover, or simply curious about this community-based performance approach, this event is for you. Join us to explore movement, storytelling, and collaborative creation in an inspiring environment.
