In collaboration with CapoRumba, Acosta Dance Centre presents La Casa del Son, a dynamic workshop and social experience led by acclaimed artist Luanda Pau, with music provided by DJ Richard Fallon.

This program is designed to guide you from foundational steps to the joy of social dancing, making it perfect for both beginners and intermediate dancers.

Son Cubano Classes (2h 30m)
Level: Beginners & Intermediate
Dive into the fundamentals of Son Cubano, exploring basic footwork, connection in partner work, and the genre’s unique musicality. The session will break down essential figures and rhythms, offering clear, progressive instruction adapted for all levels.

1:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Son Cubano Social Practice (2h 30m)
With: DJ Richard Fallon
Enjoy an authentic Cuban social dancing experience where you can practice what you’ve learned in a relaxed, fun, and welcoming environment. Mingle, dance, and enjoy classic and contemporary Son music with one of the UK’s finest Latin music DJs.
