Open to adults of all levels, from novices to seasoned dancers, this class offers an opportunity to explore diverse movement styles while nurturing physical and mental well-being.
Starting with a comprehensive warm-up, participants will delve into various movement qualities and dynamics. From there, the class will delve into crafting unique choreographies in solos, duos, and groups. Expect an engaging blend of sweat, play, and imaginative connection with both body and mind.
About Melissa Rayne: Hailing from Wales and now based in South East London, Melissa Rayne is a neurodivergent Dancer and Dancemaker with a versatile background encompassing classical/contemporary dance, martial arts, and somatic practices. Melissa’s distinct movement history informs her approach to Dance Art, emphasizing a feminine perspective.
Over a decade of experience includes collaborations with prominent companies and choreographers across the UK and Europe. As a choreographer, Melissa’s creations have graced diverse platforms, from scratch nights to collaborative evenings.
Since 2014, Melissa has been sharing her expertise, instructing creative dance, improvisation, contemporary dance, movement meditation, and Pilates to a wide array of students. Melissa is thrilled to guide participants on a transformative dance voyage that celebrates individuality and collective expression.
